Terms of Service
Last updated September 1, 2026
By using Lensdrop you agree to these terms. Lensdrop is a photo-delivery tool for photographers: you upload galleries and share them with your clients.
Your account
You're responsible for activity under your account and for the content you upload. You confirm you have the right to upload and share the photos in your galleries.
Acceptable use
- Don't upload unlawful content or content you don't have rights to.
- Don't use Lensdrop as general file hosting unrelated to photo delivery.
- Don't attempt to disrupt or abuse the service or its quotas.
Content rules and enforcement
Lensdrop is for delivering lawful professional photography privately to your own clients. Two things lead to immediate, permanent account termination with no warning: any sexual content involving minors, which we also report to the relevant authorities, and intimate imagery of a person shared without their consent. Beyond that, don't use Lensdrop to sell, publicly distribute, or provide access to pornographic content; delivering lawful work privately to the client who is its subject is fine, running a distribution operation through gallery links is not.
We don't routinely review what's in your galleries. We may access and review content when we have reason to believe these terms are being violated, and we may use automated tools to detect illegal content. We can remove content, disable galleries, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. To report content that shouldn't be on Lensdrop, email hello@lensdrop.app: reports are acted on promptly, and reports from a person depicted in intimate imagery are handled within the timelines the law requires.
AI features and face search
Lensdrop offers optional AI tools. Auto clean-up flags photos you'd probably drop (blur, closed eyes, exposure, duplicates) to help you review faster; it is assistive only and never deletes photos, so the final selection is always yours. Find my photos lets guests find their own photos in a gallery from a selfie. It is off by default and you turn it on per gallery; by enabling it you confirm you have the necessary consent from the people in that gallery to process their face data for this purpose. See our Privacy Policy for how face data is handled and where the feature is available.
Testimonials
Clients can leave a note from a gallery, and you choose which notes to show on your galleries, your public testimonials page, and the website embed. You're responsible for the testimonials you display: by publishing one you confirm you have the client's consent to show their name and words, and that the content isn't unlawful, misleading, or a misuse of someone's identity. Lensdrop hosts and shows what you approve; it doesn't verify the accuracy of testimonials. We can remove content that violates these terms.
Payments
You pay Lensdrop for galleries and add-ons. Lensdrop takes 0% commission on your sales and is never part of the payment between you and your clients.
Galleries
You pay for a gallery when you share it, not when you create it. Create a gallery and upload to it for free; when you share the link, we price it once from the storage it actually uses and take a single payment. There is no subscription and no balance to top up. New accounts start with 1 free gallery; it is a one-time allotment to get started, not a recurring monthly amount, and it is counted against that allotment when you first store a photo in it, not when you create it. Accounts created before 31 August 2026 keep the allotment they signed up with (2 free galleries).
A gallery you have not paid for yet is a draft: only you can see it, and you can keep up to 2 unpaid drafts at a time. If you do not share a draft within 7 days we lock it, and after a 7-day grace period it is deleted along with anything you uploaded to it. We email you before that happens.
Storage sizes are limits on bytes, not on photos. Where we show a photo count beside a size (for example about 1,450 photos for 15GB) it is an estimate based on typical photo file sizes, offered as a rough guide and not as a guaranteed capacity. How many photos actually fit depends on your own files: a gallery is full when it reaches its size in gigabytes, whatever number of photos that turns out to be.
Each gallery stays active for its window (currently 6 months). After that it is archived (clients can no longer view it) and, following a 7-day grace period during which you can still extend it or download the originals, it is permanently deleted along with its photos. We email you before expiry so you have time to act. You can extend a gallery's window, or move it up to a larger storage size, from your dashboard. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Pricing and currency
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, for every customer. Customers in India are charged in INR (UPI or card); customers elsewhere are charged in USD. The price shown for your region is the price you pay. Any applicable taxes, including GST for customers in India, are calculated at checkout. If your card's currency differs from the charge currency, your bank or card network may apply its own conversion or a small surcharge.
Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy and are processed back to your original payment method through Dodo Payments.
Availability
We work to keep Lensdrop reliable but provide the service "as is" without warranties. We may update these terms; we'll note the date above.
