Cookies are small files stored on your device. Lensdrop uses a minimal set, split into two categories.

Essential

Required for the app to work; they keep you signed in and remember your choices. These are always on.

Analytics (optional)

If you opt in, we use PostHog to understand how Lensdrop is used so we can improve it. This includes session replay, which records how you interact with the app (clicks, navigation, on-screen content such as images, and what you type in most form fields) so we can find and fix problems. Sensitive fields are always masked: passwords, gallery PINs, and sign-in codes are never recorded, and payment details are entered in our payment provider's own checkout, which session replay cannot see. Session replay can run anywhere in Lensdrop, including shared gallery pages, but only after you opt in, and we record just a sample of gallery views. Analytics are off until you opt in, you can change your mind anytime, and we never use analytics for advertising.
