Cull your shoot. Send the keepers.
Lensdrop for desktop is a fast, keyboard-first culling app with on-device AI, and an auto-uploader for live events. Free with every Lensdrop account.
Version 0.2.0 for Mac and Windows. Updates itself.
Pick, reject, arrow through, undo. The keys you already know.
Flags are suggestions with the reason shown. Every keep is your call, and nothing is deleted for you.
On-device AI
Instant, private, keyboard-first.
Instant, even on RAW
The app reads the preview inside each RAW file and decodes the next frames before you get there, so arrowing through a thousand-photo shoot never waits on a spinner.
AI that never phones home
One click flags soft frames, closed eyes, blown exposure and near-duplicates, each with the reason shown. It all runs on your machine: your clients' photos never leave your computer until you choose to send.
Built for the keyboard
Keep or reject with the keys you already know from Lightroom, hold 100% zoom while you arrow through a burst, and undo anything. Flags are suggestions; every keep is your call.
Ends in delivery
When the cull is done, send just the keepers to a Lensdrop gallery and share the link. Only your picks upload, nothing else.
Auto-upload at live events
The second mode watches a folder and sends every new photo on its own. Point it at your tether or card-reader folder and a live gallery fills while you shoot. No laptop on site? Pro cameras can send straight to the gallery over Wi-Fi FTP instead.
Keeps itself current
The app updates itself. When a new version ships it offers a one-click install and restart, so you never download an installer twice.
Workflow
A shoot, start to sent.
- 1
Import a folder
Point it at the shoot. Previews appear in seconds and keep filling in while you start reviewing.
- 2
Cull with keys and flags
Rip through frame by frame, or run Suggest throwaways first and review what the AI marked. Nothing is ever deleted for you.
- 3
Send the keepers
Pick a gallery and send. Only the keepers upload, and your delivery link is ready to share.
Sending is optional. Plenty of sessions end with the cull, files still on your disk, and that is a complete workflow on its own.
Good to know
Private by design
Culling happens entirely on your computer. When you do send, photos go straight from your machine to your gallery's storage, never through our servers.
One sign-in
Sign in once with your Lensdrop account. You can switch which gallery a computer sends to at any time, from the app or from Lensdrop.
Revoke any time
Signing out removes the computer's access straight away. You can also remove it from Account, Devices.
Free with your account
The app is free. You only ever pay for paid galleries, exactly as you would uploading from the browser.
